ABSTRACT
We report surgical experience in 3 cases of cerebral cysticercosis, one of which is ventricular and two parenchymatous form. In general, there is no specific treatment for cerebral cysticercosis. In our cases of parenchymatous and mixed forms, no long-term significant improvement was obtained by surgical decompression and symptomatic treatment. However, in one case involving the 4th. ventricle, we removed the cysts successfully resulting in complete cure.
