ABSTRACT

A case of spinal extradural meningeal cyst associated with the high lumbar disc herniation is reported. The cyst located in posterior extradural space between T12 and L1 vertebrae with L 1/2 intervertebral disc herniation. There was neither osteum and communication to the spinal subarachnoid space. The magnetic resonance imaging(MRI) was useful for the diagnosis of this isolated extradural cyst.
