Two Cases of Extracranial Carotid Artery Aneurysm Accompanied by Cerebral Infarction.

ABSTRACT
Aneurysms of the extracranial carotid artery are uncommon. The symptoms of these aneurysms vary according to their location and size. Large aneurysms present as cervical mass, which may be pulsatile and there may be an associated systolic bruit. Cerebral ischemic symptoms are frequent presentation of these aneurysms. We experienced two cases of extracranial carotid aneurysm. One case is associated with Behcet's syndrome. Both case were accompanied by cereral infarction and neurological deficits.
