ABSTRACT
Cysticercosis in the nervous system is well known and has been reported by several authors worldwide. An intramedullary thoracic cysticercosis case recorded here is extremely rare. It was characterized by urinary retention, abdominal distension, paraplegia with anesthesia below T4-dermatome for 4 years in a 49-year-old male farmer. We have surgically removed the intramedullary cyst. Two other our case of ventricular cysticercosis are also added to our previous reports.
